Our Story
Kraeft Hospitality started when an experienced chef searched for the perfect balance of flavor, fun, and food that brings back and builds nostalgic memories of home cooking, passion, and elegance. Chef Andrew was given the opportunity to grow his passions for hospitality with the beautiful Sarnia Riding Club. Kraeft Hospitality will provide food service through the riding club’s cafe, provide top of the line experiences and delicious offerings to the members of the Riding Club and future events to come.

Kraeft Hospitality plans to use sustainability to guide our decisions. At Kraeft Hospitality, our goal is to build a platform to showcase the amazing food producers in Lambton County, and all the hard working producers across this beautiful province. Our success will be built on a sustainable foundation of lifelong relationships with customers and businesses in our community.
ANDREW KRAEFT
Owner / Chef
Andrew Kraeft is a young, passionate, chef who has worked in a wide variety of kitchens in Sarnia, Canada, and abroad. He graduated from culinary management at Humber College. Before graduation, Andrew finished his final semester travelling around Europe and apprenticing in Strasbourg France.
Andrew decided to spend a year and a half cooking in Abu Dhabi before returning home to Canada. On his return he went back to school, completing his Bachelor’s degree of international hotel management at Royal Roads University.
Andrew became the executive chef of an established winery in the Okanagan Valley and continued developing strong teams at the Penticton Lakeside Resort with The Hooded Merganser. Andrew has passions for building strong relationships in the community, food sustainability, and supporting local food producers. Before joining the Sarnia Riding Club, Andrew was the executive chef of the Forest Golf Club and Inn.
Outside of the kitchen, Andrew can be found in the garden, listening to podcasts with his three year old Husky, Retriever, Malinois puppy or he can be found unwinding on the couch with his cat, his girlfriend, and a good cookbook looking for inspiration.
